Mary J Blige the greatest though since My Life is the best r&b album

i love mary j blige and her voice improved massively over the span of her career, but she isn't even top 10 vocalist

My personal favourite is Beautifully Human: Words And Sounds, Vol. 2. Jazzy and tastefully sensual with dysfunctional truism. An essential neo-soul album in my opinion.

A lot say Who Is Jill Scott: Words And Sounds, Vol. 1 is her best. It has my favourite song by her:

1st born second is such a classic to me, that album, and voodoo were so extraordinary and out the box for r&b at that time, but it doesn't even get talked about. Give that a spin if you haven't

and no worries brother, i live for these music convos, y'all are real ones

for sure. was thinking around the time of the soulquarian era, it isn't really an essential album, but only jay dee touched production on the album on just a few tracks... rest was dre and saadiq mainly i think so that's probably why
