Honestly I think this beat is super underrated, possibly a top 10 Dre beat. I wish Dre had done more production outside of the Aftermath camp.
Song is the definition of a cookout classic man I got so many memories of vibing with the family to this at the reunion

Also a classic early morning cleaning track my moms would play.
Probably top 10
Surprised it hasn’t been sampled more or interpolated yet
i'm happy it would get spoiled n be disrespectfully done
I like the song but I feel like they bit this for the rhythm and chord progression and I like this more lol

They sound nothing alike but I love both songs

I can see why you would say that because it’s different instrumentation lol but the drums are the same rhythm and tempo and the chords is the exact same progression with the exact same timing(might be in a different key though)
Both songs go 4 bars on the minor i chord (iirc) then 2 bars on the iv chord then back to the i for 2 bars to end the 8 bar loop
Try singing the choruses one each other it works almost, there are stylistic differences I just always thought they were similar. Not in a bad way though
