Any new growth tips been working for you? My reach on FB and IG seems like it’s been cut in half lately. So I know organic is all but dead on those platforms.

Anyone have any experience or success on Reddit?

    Alright so here's my experience:

FIVERR: I've had the best results using fiverr, I paid someone to submit my music to different Spotify Playlists. I ended up on 12 playlist with my latest song, it's been out 2 weeks & has almost 7000 streams. You do have to be careful using fiverr, I'm sure there are people that are scammers & use bots. Just got to find someone who's legit, read reviews & so on.

FB & FB ads: Not a fan of facebook in general, so I haven't put any effort in gaining followers on here. But I have used the FB ads once, following Andrew Southworth & was disappointed. I personally think if you're starting out & don't have a big following don't bother using FB ads.

IG: I've had good experience with IG, it's pretty cheap to promote a post/story.

TIK TOK: Just got on TIK TOK, I think you have to be posting almost everyday to get results, which I don't have time for tbh.

SUMBITHUB: Used it twice, no luck on there.

Organic growth is really difficult, you will have to replace money with posting really often, being social on the platform.

You can also look up "best time to post on tiktok, ig" for each platform, use hashtags. Be consistent & have good content.

  • IG but more so foreign people
Like it's hard here to attract regular folks cause hip hop isnt THAT big or being "lived"
Usually labels and promotors hmu but other than that almost 0 input from irl circles(jealousy and hatred obviously play a part)

But Instagram is still very great imo alot of diff artists and in general industry people still on there and scavenger huntin

Also getting ur tracks online like Spotify helps a ton
Since alot og these social media platform allow Spotify to give em music to use

  • Like ppl here look more to who. U are and what type of s*** u make
Its not like they intend to be a fan ya dig
So ur feeding off singles/loosies mostly until someone higher up co signs u or u go abroad

  • ow yea even got signed, and ma manager told me there is nothing really out here to get, gotta look abroad, think bigger

cause social media really isnt that much in our advantage

thats why i be so happy i found dude, all u need is that bridge between u and the big houses

Just be yourself, and use tik tok to make things that can basically only be made on TikTok. Read/follow the trends/waves and hop on em quickly but use them instead of being used by them

If you’re an artist and you got something to say, you should want to say things
