The quality and importance of their work (at their peak) outshines anything he has done, period. Don't even get me started on influence and impact.
influence/impact are unfair since they’ve had 40-50 years to let their work influence s***. Timbalands work is already proven to be timeless like theirs but obviously it isn’t going to be as far reaching yet
Quality is subjective as well. Timbalands R&B s*** been GOAT’d and he’s been a driving factor for so many legends come ups. Unlike George Martin who just one guy in a band or Spector who didn’t really develop any timeless artists besides for one Beatles album which again, it’s the Beatles lol
