    They really did. Which is crazy cuz I lived in a predominantly black community but we had white teachers and superintendents. Crazy they wouldn’t tell us the truth. Only taught us about MLK

    The teachers don’t really choose what they teach you (but they can if they really wanted to)

    But this exactly how it was growing up too, schools were complete minorities except for a random white kid here and there, and most the teachers white

    I was lucky I had my pops to teach me about Malcolm, he met him once too when he was a teen. Didnt have a full on conversation or anything just shook his hand
