in 4th grade. we got sent home from school early that day and i remember walking home seeing the freeway flooded with military with assault rifles

i went home and my mom came from from work crying and hugged me

my grandfather watched the second tower fall from our home

Damn i had a normal ass day the rest of the day. My brother and sister were in high school and just watched the news in every class

1 years old, in Hawaii so everyone was asleep when it was happening. Dad was in the Navy and told me that base was closed and everyone went home early

I was 4. Lived across the bridge from north Jersey and I was in Pre-K. The one thing I vividly remember is all the kids being picked up by their parents in a rush. My aunt came and got me that day and she was scared. Don’t remember much else from that day besides that

yeah s*** was mad f***ed up now that i think about it. my street got named after a firefighter / family friend who died that day at the towers

cant even imagine what it was like for older people. i was a kid so i thought i was safe with my family. but if i was as old as i am now, i’d feel mad vulnerable just walking out the house

i was working as an accountant. Was out of town at the time and saw the news
