CLB
SSSFU
i was sick af when $$$4U dropped and i made the bad idea to listen and my ears just hated it at first
probably at the bottom of my list awful time for me

Drake is an ever present artist in our lives and part of the magic of his art is that it lives alongside us and soundtracks a lot of our moments
Doesn’t need to be exactly tied to the release either
It’s a close list but I think my 3 would be
1. Scorpion (Spring 2018 - Summer 2019) I really lived with this album for the first year it was out and everything from the pre release to afterwards felt like peak form Drake and maximum exposure, soundtracked a heavy evolving time in my life as a young man
2. More Life (Spring - Summer 2017) Similar spot to Scorpi but this album also came out during my first breakup as a youth and this was one the main albums I played a lot during that healing period, I played Since Way Back like I could relate to it
3. Certified Lover Boy (Fall 2021 - Summer 2022) The CLB vs Donda era was absolutely legendary
I wasn’t going through anything really when this dropped but it still soundtracked some great moments and it stayed on repeat for months
So Far Gone and FATD were close to making the list too

I was in a bad state when More Life dropped and was really dissociated from everything after a bad d*** experience. It lasted about a month. All I could listen to was lofi beats and chill dance music because anything else would give me a panic attack. More Life was honestly kind of perfect for that. I played the s*** out of Get It Together, Madiba Riddim and Blem that spring to calm myself down and lift my mood.
Not good memories or anything, but it was a time when Drake music really helped me.
mm interesting question
IYTITL, i was looking out my NYC dorm room window to Legend a bunch back then and feeling it lol
More Life, all those parking lot sunsets driving to Passionfruit in summer 2017
Honestly Nevermind, blasting Massive on a bluetooth speaker at the beach with my friends, running the entire album back while I played Team Fortress 2 or Tetris
NWTS - started smoking weed the year this album dropped. Would get slumped to tracks like Connect. Taking turns with the homies playing GTA 5 while this album was playing
IYRTITL - Working out a lot to these songs, driving around with friends to these songs, also smoked a lot to these songs
TC - Simping to these songs during my first relationship
TC debatable with Scorpion but mostly because they played God's Plan at my graduation and the hits on that album were inescapable
1. Scary Hours
Had me very scared
2. Scary Hours 2
Had me super scared aka spooked
3. Scary Hours 3
Had me exceptionally scared aka filling my britches or "browning trou"
Great memories!
Browning trou is crazy

Idk bout 2 and 3 but Take Care was #1. The roll out and the loosies he dropped on the blog. I always think about that era

Yes, Doctor!!
Incoming yap cuz I’m on shrooms afterglow and questions like this r inherently so personal
For me it’s gotta be dark lane demo tapes, scary hours 2, her loss, and ironically fatd lol
Because in CLB era was covid, scorpion I did not like, and everything before that didn’t even know who Drake was really but dark lane demo tapes I cherished and in 10th grade loved a lot of songs off of like deep pockets really resonated with me
Scary hours 2 was just a perfectly 2021 ass 3pack and in CLB rollout which was rly good and I was on the basketball court 24/7 and I lowk really really liked every song on it and played the f*** out of it. Also such a cultural moment all of those songs prolly the only era of Drake’s I’ve loved was post scorpion pre CLB it felt so exciting
Her loss was just post covid such an outside album we played in the car quite a few times when I was first exploring weed and getting out the house with a car available to ride in which it was great for also release night was insane and some of the songs really are like incredible emotional s*** like hours in silence and I guess it’s f*** me
FATD is a thing where I thought it was a real mixed bag but it was so massive and Drake was so on top the world and the hits were also excellent that it had to be nostalgic for me there are parts of it I bumped a lot like tried our best and drew a Picasso are cinema and even though I just found it shallow as f*** in every conceivable way it soundtracked my first semester of university first time living on my own in the dorm which was a very transformative period for me finally detached from the chaos of my home so there’s def parts of it that bring me back to memories
