I came out of listening to The Fall Off feeling "Yep. That was definitely a J Cole album" and never listened to it again, or felt any desire to return to individual tracks.

the fall out im already iffy on cole so i already didnt expect much from it especially with it being 2 discs. if anything it only validated how large the gap was between him and kendrick is

people gassed up that keem album for about a day and half before quiet quitting

Still bump Casino weekly, don’t listen to the fall off much unfortunately but I might go to the tour

The Fall-Off was disappointing IMO but not because what we got was bad, instead what I really wanted to hear was the album that was really worked on for 10 years. The one with 1985, Lion King On Ice, Everybody Dies etc.

I felt like the album we got was almost entirely post-beef, or at a minimum post-Off-Season.

both albums were great and have songs that stay on repeat. both albums did not need that long of a build but personal lives come first and it did not affect the music experience

went to Casino tour 2 nights and the show was amazing. still tryna catch Cole on this tour in a different city hopefully or if he runs back a 2nd leg of US dates

the fall off bro it had 10 years of buildup and was gona be like a masterpiece then turned into his worst s*** like actual s*** from a butt casino iw as v dissapointed with at first but i like it now nad it only got one mediocre or bad song

I liked both. I get the criticisms of The Fall Off with the buildup and being a bit bloated and directionless but it still was enjoyable to me to finally get it
