Are there any r&b albums people hold in the same regard as illmatic
I think it'd only be fair to have 1 album from the north, east coast, south, and west coast... definitely couldn't do a definitive list but this is mine
-College Dropout (not my favorite Ye album but shifted the culture and it was the world's introduction to one of the greatest musical artists of all time)
-Illmatic (36 Chambers & Midnight Marauders were close but I feel like this album captures the "golden age" of the 90s better than those two and when the east vs. west thing was most prevalent)
-Aquemini (outkast's best album imo)
-The Chronic (same as Illmatic)
I say straight out of Compton because that mean I don't gotta put a dre, cube or eazy album on there
