When an artist drops a tracklist of 15+ songs we usually groan
What artist are you okay with dropping a long ass album regardless?
For me it's definitely Ye
I'm never really okay with long albums, but I've gotten used to Breezy and Drake releasing 2-3 hour long workout playlists and calling them albums
lil b cause he invented them
i think artists whos sound is unique and doesnt vary too much can have those bottomless mimosa type albums where you dont know which song is which
The more music the better
The album is such a sacred thing to music heads
But imo what’s wrong with just having the most music possible

I think the issue is that it ends up being too much filler. Artists are supposed to release their best work, not every single song they recorded just for higher streams. It kinda cheats the artistic side at times imo
If the album is nearing 20 tracks I get discouraged, that's for any artist. If it's over 20 tracks I usually don't listen at all

it's annoying when half of it is fillers yet you dont want to delete them
lot of my favorite albums are 15+ songs
don’t matter who’s “allowed” as long as the music is good
