Lists like these are hard tho. Nigeria and Ghana have some food that are honestly crack tier. So does Ethiopia, Greece, the Caribbean Islands, Germany etc.
I don't really like ranking them. The only trash cuisine are places like the UK.

Like native cuisine? That's up for debate. USA, Japan, China, Italy, France, are all in the convo.

But if you just mean which country has the best restaurants, it's Japan and it isn't even close.

If you have best restaurants type of money fam. Japan is def not the best and it is def way closer than you think

I take food pretty seriously and based off what I’ve had before, this is what I would rank the different regions:

S tier: Italian, Japanese

A tier: French, Mexican, Chinese

B tier: Southern American (Creole/BBQ), Korean, Indian, Middle Eastern,Thai, Vietnamese, German, African (Ethiopian, Nigerian)

C tier: Eastern European, Fillipino, Modern American (diner food)

D tier: British

For reference, I’m Middle Eastern.
