ive been using my old ass 6S for years and was still pretty satisfied with it except for the camera.

but now the battery and the charging socket are broken and obviously getting it repaired aint worth it for a phone that goes for like a 100 bucks now

so i gotta buy a new one now and id rather buy one used or refurbished instead of getting an expensive ass contract.

Im thinking about maybe getting an X or an XR or XS. Ive been out of the game for so long and dont really know which one has the best price value at the moment.

Any reccomendations on which one to get? especially bearing in mind that im looking for a phone with a good camera.

and do the prices for the older iphones usually drop instantly once the new one gets released? I guess i could keep my 6s for a few more weeks until the 12 releases if it makes a difference in price

Please do not get the SE when you can get a older flagship or another budget iPhone for a couple dollars more that actually has design and actual care in mind.

The Amazon renewed phones have been p decent in my experience too. So you'll save more money.

I'm in the same boat. Im thinking that waiting until black friday comes to get the iphone 12 is the smartest thing to do to get the best value for your $$$.

xr or the 11 (the regular one, not the pro max) is the “budget” ones that still have a lot of new tech. if i was you, coming up on the release of the new ones in the next two weeks, i’d aim to get the 11

I've been in this same situation the last several months and decided to wait for the iPhone 12 to drop before making any moves.

I'm either getting the iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro depending on the decrease in price for each of them. I'm expecting the Pro to hit from 999>799 at the least close to right after release.

I thought about the SE, but the battery life was the turn off for me. It has some awesome upgrades comparative to price, but still the same battery as the 8.
