Assassins is a 90s action movie from the great Richard Donner (Superman, The Omen, Lethal Weapon), but it's not that spectacular to be honest.

It's a lot of fun, but it sounds like it'd be pretty different to anything you're used to seeing him in if you only know his later Almodovar stuff - this was coming right off of Banderas' success in Desperado a couple months before, and here he plays a charismatic villain against Sly.

Anyway, it's cool, but I wouldn't say it's anything too special.

He also did a couple movies with Almodóvar in the 80‘s - what do you think are the best of his other movies??
