Roddy was on every big song last year and his album was in the top 10 for almost the whole year lol.

And despite the demand to drop more music, I think him not dropping frequently is gonna help him in the long run. As long as he does features here and there and not oversaturate himself.

Either you retire or the game retires you. Kendrick & Drake are both GOAT’s but i can see them leaving before they fall off. They’ll probably still drop verses every now and then but wont be active as rappers.

We can have emerging artists getting some attention but when Kendrick or Drake announces a new project, even only a new song, everything else is forgotten and the mainstream gets totally owned.

Second, few people know rappers like Baby or Roddy. Ik some of you will bring the numbers, the charts, the stream numbers and blah blah blah, but when comes to the world outside of the internet, they are a grain of salt compared to the big ones.

I see Kendrick and Drake like Messi and Ronaldo from the rap game, they will get all the attention until they stop or die.
