never had a android before only iphone but these two look very good compared to the 15 pro max
iPhone 15 Pro Max
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Google Pixel 8 Pro
google I reckon. Only say that for aesthetic purposes
that’s one of the reasons i like it
i really think it’s a great looking phone
Pixel is a mid tier phone so pass on that
Just depends what OS you like
Galaxy and iPhone are the top 2 phones on the market
I’ve always preferred iOS to Android and will never switch to them. But plenty prefer Android
It comes down to preference. Your preference is the right answer.
Do NOT get a Google Pixel

i’m gonna go look at both the phones soon to test them out
i’ve just had the worst experience with a iphone with my 12 pro max and it’s made me want to try android

Wait for the iPhone 16
can’t my phone can’t even charge correctly the port is messed up after cleaning it still doesn’t work
and i can’t even use my phone all day dies in about 3-4 hours
plus some other problems like my phone just randomly freezing and crashing so often
flip a coin tbh
I stay with pixels coz Google Fi. pixels also the most appley android I guess coz stock android. but I also always get their a series phones on a big discount and it seems like their flagships always got some lil issues that their a series don't. paid like 250 for the 7a I got rn but lowkey wish I stayed with the 5a for that jack lmao take me back to the aux cord era!
between samsung and google I would pick google
between google and apple it depends on what you want/like
I use an iphone mini cause it's comfy for my hands, if there would be an android phone this size, and this powerful, I would have remained on android
Pixel 8
Google phones are so underrated. I switched as a cheap option years ago and I'm on my 3rd now. Even my wife left apple to get a pixel after seeing mine. Just because Google is lower in cost doesn't mean it's lower quality at all. No clue how I still have my day 1 p6 acting like it's new still
I could literally not imagine leaving the pixel lines and no longer having Google lens / circle search baked into the operating system itself. I think only like 2-3 android phones even get those as an app and iPhones just don't have it period
I used iPhones from 5-6s I think then Samsung's for a minute but they always paled to the googles I got after. Always felt the Google android works better than the Samsung one.
I use chrome browser and Google products which make the "eco system" flawless although my watch is Garmin and still works perfectly too

then just borrow a phone or get a cheap older model to tide you over
it will be cheaper to buy a 15 once the 16 is out

Interesting, I left Samsung for Google because I felt Samsung was becoming too similar to apple. This was like 6 years ago though
Pixel 9 dropping soon wait on that one I'm done with Apple fr ima get an android the day i feel secure with whoever I'm gonna marry so won't have to care about green bubbles anymore
i was really considering this one but just the s24 ultra is so much more powerful and i can get it for $500 when i trade in my current phone
but i lvoe this flip one so much

If you want it's not too expensive or hard to just get an older used pixel for a short period of time. They don't hold value aside from trading in to get a new one

Yup I'm getting that

yeah i’ve seen that is it looking like a way better option than the 8 pro ?
The camera zoom on the Galaxy is mad fun while the Pixel has proprietary google tech that can be neat but also too specific and with other makers adopting AI Pixel is beginning to lose their edge
I think what makes Android great today is that I get to not have ads on my social media apps. That s*** reason enough for me lol. Def a bunch of other reasons but most of them are just about adapting and getting invested in an ecosystem

What do you mean by the AI part? I thought Google has been hitting that really hard but maybe I'm unaware of what the lacked features are
slight bias but samsungs the best choice if you wanna make the switch to android completely
pixel is good too but often times than not it feels like it's trying to be the "iphone of androids" so it can feel restrictive in some areas (although since you're already an iphone user you'll prolly feel right at home lol)
