Trippie is the most commercially successful Soundcloud rapper only behind Carti. he just isn't in the media and doesn't get mainstream coverage. consistency is better than a huge peak and then fall off.

imo Lil Pump should be at least where Carti is if not way bigger, people forget how big his wave was. I wasn't a Huge fan but he could have gotten better, guess he just didn't care much for the music, just clout
In for slander thread.

Pretty obvious answer here…Chance
Followed up his good first mixtape with a classic, critically acclaimed masterpiece second mixtape and became a cultural touchstone who was supposed to some sort of savior of rap and go against the corporate commercialization of the sound. Hit his zenith with his feature on ultralight beam and released a good but underwhelming third mixtape.
Then he releases his long awaited, incredibly hyped debut album and it’s so bad that he has become completely irrelevant to the culture, and he’s now only a meme.
Add in Good Ass Job with Ye never coming out, the rumors he had label support the whole time via Roc Nation, the video of Ye screaming at him, lawsuits, industry plant rumors and connections.
It’s an incredible fall off. 5-6 years ago people thought Chance was on track to become one of the biggest, best rappers alive and now he’s almost forgotten unless it’s to clown on him.
