I’ve gotten to appreciate it more, it’s still the weakest season but it’s good

all these shows are brilliant I’ll repeat I love the sopranos to death for certain characters & the brilliant dark humor, but in terms of scale of story the wire dwarfs it and probably BB as well, the deaths in the wire feel the most consequential

Only one I havent watched in full is The Sopranos

Mad Men was really good, binged it during the pandemic. Its not in the same category of brilliance to me but its still fantastic. Id give it a 8/10

Breaking Bad, its good. Lil overrated imo but even then its still really good. 9/10

sopranos still one of the best shows ive seen outta all these and in general

breaking bad is also pretty great. im still in awe that they've managed the raise the stakes with s5 even after how crazy s4 ended. probably one of my favorite endings for a tv show ever

the wire ill be honest, i did not enjoy this show as much as niggas praise it but i did like season 4 a lot and some of the characters like avon, stringer, marlo, and omar

havent seen mad men yet

honestly don't think there's one show better than the other

they've reached and created such greatness in their own unique ways that you can always re watch one of them and appreciate how each could have an argument for being the best show made

I don’t get how mad men is compared to these other shows

this is entirely up to preference imo

they're all a very rewarding watch but something about mad men just clicks with me more than the rest

Breaking Bad is so overrated lmao, I’d rather watch True Detective S1 and Fargo S1 and S2 personally

breaking bad just hit different for me cus it’s the only show out of these i watched while it was still on tv. watching season 5 week to week was the greatest s*** i’ve ever seen in my life

I’m through 3 ish seasons of mad men it has moments where it ascends to that level like the Anna & Don stuff but mostly feels like consistent commentary on that period of time, your more mundane tragedies & how suffocating life was for anyone who’s not a white dude
