Ive seen BB while it was airing and havent seen Made Men. I watched both the wire & sopranos during the pandemic.

My rankings would go:

1a) The Wire
1b) The Sopranos
3. BB

The wire & The Sopranos serve two different purposes. I felt I could put on Sopranos at anytime and enjoy what I was watching instantly, whereas the wire made me sit down and lock in, but it was by far the most rewarding tv show ever. Both very good, probably the best tv shows ive ever watched.

Watch breaking bad for a compelling thrill from start to finish.

Watch the other 3 if you’re entertained by toxic stereotyped character tropes.

Also just remove breaking bad from this group

All 3 other shows basically serve the same fan base while BB appeals to a wider audience which is why it gets the hate it does in these sort of discussions

mad men is so underrated lately it’s criminal. the episode with the lawnmower and the british executive alone puts it up there

if we counting animation, bojack is definitely in the same tier
