After game awards we got to see some new games that look pretty good. Do they look like what you wanted out of PS5, albeit in unfinished development? What looks the best graphics, physics and all that?
ima be honest, it came out last year but Alan Wake 2 has absolutely wowed me with its graphics
Even though the Witcher 4 trailer was in engine I’m assuming that’s what they’re aiming for and they’ll hit it.
We’ll probably be on 60 series GPUs by then, and seeing how games look with the hardware we have now it wouldn’t surprise me

Witcher 4 I’m unsure of. I know it’s in engine cause TECHNICNALLY unreal 5 can reach those heights but i doubt it can reach that high.

I think it depends a lot on how hardware develops. Of course we’re never getting that fidelity on console, but it’s not unbelievable a top tier gpu in 4-5 years could
Digital foundry seems most impressed by Intergalactic but thinks they are over promising. S*** got ray tracing and they are saying it has some of the best shadows they have ever seen. But remain skeptical about it having all those features + being 60 fps as shown in trailer.
They believe those final 10 seconds are raw gameplay as well
That crimson desert looks so crazy I think it's a scam
Same thing I thought 4 years ago. But nah, a game like that wouldn't be able to be shown at the game awards (twice) unless it was real I'm sure. They don't accept just anything, every game that enters has to either prove that it's very far in development, or at least by a dev that's well trusted. Jmo who knows. But I'm willing to give games that look extremely good a chance now after thinking Wukong was fake. (actually I never really did lmao others did but I was a bit skeptical)
This is how games should look finally. Crimson Desert looks like what I paid 600 bucks for a PS5 for

You say that but they let this s*** in

I didn't see that lol
the obvious answers are gta 6 , intergalactic and death stranding 2
rockstar, naughty dog and kojima were the three studios that released ps4 games that all looked a generation ahead and im sure it’ll happen again
but ill give a shout to the max payne remakes too, we havent seen them yet but im expecting them to look incredible after alan wake 2
GTA 6. They’re saying it’s what like twice the size of GTAV and you can enter 70% of buildings? With beautiful graphics and who knows how many little features and details.
As an actual upcoming game that's releasing soon, Assassin's Creed Shadows

There are tons of mechanics showcased in that video that are not in Ghost of Tsushima

Everything about it looks like GoT. Fair enough, some of the s*** is unavoidable like the straw hats, the parries, the sword wipes, the way the foliage moves and floats in the wind. But they had it bad enough finally dropping their AC game set in Japan after GoT and it looks like they didn't even try to separate it from that franchise. Even the HUD looks really similar with the yellow orbs above the health bar
We'll see when reviews drop, but I can guarantee that reviewers and gamers won't be able to stop themselves from comparing it to GoT. And I can guarantee that modern Ubisoft is not topping Sucker Punch's effort. So it's in Ubisoft's best interest to separate their game from GoT as much as they can
