Neither but Blueprint 4 would make more sense, the Vol. series just seems so foreign to the type of rapping Jay is doing now, and as a whole is a specific time and Era that would feel weird if he returned to, like if he was trying to desperately prove he’s still that Hov from the 90s, but he doesn’t need to do that.

Blueprint series shows more progression, you can see his evolution as a person from 1 to 3, and that progression would only make sense after an album like 4:44
