how come people do this???? some of roommates watch some tv and then leave it on after they're gone my parents would beat my ass if i did that but a lot of people do this and it dont make any sense, like how hard to turn it off??

I leave my TV on while sleeping cause I need white noise (heh) to get a good sleep. Leaving the home with it on is unacceptable tho
