Yeah 2017 I woulda been skeptical but it isnt unbelievable at all (shit Ye tried to sign Uzi late 2014) but wit hindsight it makes more sense with Carti musical progression and persona since then how it wound up.

AWGE completely fell apart but wasn't Ian a big part of rounding that all up to begin with? Obviously Rocky has no care to promo any other A$AP music outside Yams Day (shit Twelvvy stay releasing music and Ant too and they never get any attention from him). But after the initial push with the Wavy Wednesdays and the Cozy Tapes it seemed like the start of something big if they coulda brought more people in.

They werent close at all tho, I think there's one pic of them from that era (think it was from 2016) but I totally woulda though Carti would have been more AWGE involved instead of f***ing off to do his own thing completely (although it isnt a new move for him )

I feel you but on some real s*** it don’t gotta be black and white, there are definitely a lot of cool skinny silhouettes, if you haven’t played around with it in a bit try it out

I think they were making a push to get the other affiliates to join but didn't recognize all the major stars already had deals (Uzi x Yachty x etc.) and people like MadeInTokyo who were a big part had downward trajectory and even someone like Treez Lowkey who had promise got shelved forever on AWGE. Was a clusterfuck to say the least
