Also my last question is anarchism the same as communism?
Anarchists want to skip the socialism step to get to communism
Anarchism and Socialism are two theoretical pathways to reach the final destination of communism

And from the philosophical end they also believe in the willingness of man to consent to a social contract, which I havenāt figured out if I agree with or not lol
Sean Kingston x CARTI is NUTS
mans was abt to link w Travis in that year too

I love this f***ing song, Carti blacked out

This truly was inevitable
And from the philosophical end they also believe in the willingness of man to consent to a social contract, which I havenāt figured out if I agree with or not lol
Thatās my big issue too
Weāve seen with capitalism that that s*** is NOT gonna happen

Literally too

Thatās not typically a bad thing right,Socialism is basically about the equality of classes?

Bro if Carti was president
mans would listen to no one and run this b**** perfectly and Iāll put money on it
Thatās my big issue too
Weāve seen with capitalism that that s*** is NOT gonna happen
Right like look at this past year, the fact that the absolute garbage Biden put in place is causing the right to scream communism just shows how absolutely allergic our society is to doing the right thing if it means even a hint of state coercion
I love this f***ing song, Carti blacked out
This is beautiful wtf

So socialism basically says that āinstead of the rich running the government and oppressing the workers, the workers will run it government and use it to oppress the rich (which I mean isnāt something that can exist, the rich will just stop existing). Then once we can get this going down everywhere, THEN we can tear down these governments since we run themā
Anarchists wanna avoid this process for the sake of not oppressing people and wanna get straight to the tear down
Thatās my big issue too
Weāve seen with capitalism that that s*** is NOT gonna happen
Is it bad to have such a pessimistic view that we could not get a majority to back anything like that? Like human nature and conditioning under capitalism for hundreds of years has definitely made people who wouldn't have years prior consider it, but has only bolstered those who are pro-capitalism more for it? I just don't think you could get most people to fall in line unfortunately, but who knows maybe in the next 100 years sentiment will change

There is discourse regarding the irreversible condition that capitalism is in, and I believe weāll only have mass discontent with capitalism once people in the West finally understand that no one gives a s*** abt them at the top in the face of climate change
We wonāt see socialism in our lifetime, thatās basically guaranteed

Ohhh okay so no wonder I associated the idea of anarchy with destruction. Basically because the government system is already built against us so it would be impossible to operate within it so we have to destroy in order to build something progressive and fair for all of us
I've seen this MV prolly a hundred times and just realized Sean Kingston in the background of one of the shots
so is gab3 in the back of the car

Iād love to believe we could. We have the access to communicate and understand WHY we need a change in the system, but we have to overcome a generation or soās middle to upper classās addiction to complacency.
Whether we can make the leap to a consensus before we run out of ways for voters to bury their heads in the sands rather than having to face a breaking system, remains to be seen.
Never releasing lock this f***ing thread NOW

Theres already been a sizable swing to left ideals from those who used to be conservative and a lot of liberals as well, but most arn't ready to go to the extreme which is the disestablishment phase and want to slowly move it to democratic socialism first which I think will have irrevocable consequences to the cause.
I know it isnt the complete parallel but like the revolutionary war only worked BECAUSE the most drastic of measures was taken, not because we phased out British control in America ovver the span of 100 years.
Like you said, don't see it happening in our lifetime unless some massive crisis happens and the civil unrest becomes undeniable to fight for change.
Ohhh okay so no wonder I associated the idea of anarchy with destruction. Basically because the government system is already built against us so it would be impossible to operate within it so we have to destroy in order to build something progressive and fair for all of us
Precisely
Socialism wants to co-opt the state so to let the workers who run it fight for other workers then dismantle it from within once their work is done
Anarchists want to totally Destroy it
Itās important to differentiate the state and government in this case. Government is an organizational force that helps make society a more efficient and easy place for its people (Social services, Public events, crisis response). The state is when this organizational force uses the power the people possess within it to project power, whether it be through police domestically or armies internationally. Usually in this case, the power the state has comes from the people (a good example is the money you make being used to fund the army through taxes)

Yup, both are very much so about individual rights and self ownership, Anarchy is just the more radical path in general and the specifics are different about how we would all operate as a society after the establishment is dissolved
