Talkin bout real Carti fans, this s*** is not surprising in the slightest bit also Carti ain’t a date dropper ever and it seemed like it was gonna be different.

Speaking of, the reason CA$H CARTI never dropped was his label deal and then beef with Dro where he had to basically scrap the whole thing cause Dro wasn’t gonna clear any of the stuff (it’s a miracle Had 2 cleared and Let It Go got respun by Pierre) so they had to do a real rollout and couldn’t get it out 2016 (on top of Carti not even knowing if he wanted to drop a tape).

WLR rollout was a disaster all around, COVID, single flopped, album was completely reworked and tons of leaks 2018-2019 likely messed up some of those plans as well. He teased it but most the time the stuff he was saying was vague, we didn’t have any concrete info on WLR until December when the real rollout started.

This time we had a date and have had multiple people on it (and Carti himself) confirm it is in the final stages. 9 months is extremely short for him but the WLR Deluxe got dropped and his hype is at a peak rn after the big features and press he’s been getting.

He’s Carti, who knows if it’ll drop soon but all signs are pointing to yes since it’s the name of the tour and it’d be weird to tour for an album with the same name that isn’t even released.
