i think Carti is just on too many d**** and doesn't want to take the time to flesh out any version of the album that he has made, so he keeps making new songs over and over again and then gets scared to drop, grows tired of whatever version he's on, and restarts again

in all seriousness i think he f***ed himself over by doing so much different sounds (deep voice, syeeah flow) that the reception has him confused and unsure what to do with the project lol

cause the hoodbyair and eviljordan direction on top of his feature run resonated with the mainstream and the more melodic s*** resonated more to his diehard fanbases not to mention the guitar heavy f1lthy songs+ the sample songs

so he screwed himself over by trying to see what would resonate the most and is now stuck with balancing all this s*** out for a whole project and probably keeping track length in mind
