Well we differ there cause I think art should never give a damn about the audience. If carti respected his audience we would have never got the wlr we did.
I do understand being frusturated by the rollout (imo its just funny at this point) but all the anitcs aside there has been no indication that the actual music will be bad or something.

We’re having a slight misunderstanding

I think the music an artist makes should be what they want, no disagreement there. When I say respect for their audience it’s about how they deliver the music to their fans in exchange for their attention

For instance, Kanye’s my favorite artist ever but the Vultures 2 rollout was so bad that I (and many others given that it’s his lowest selling project ever) didn’t even bother listening to it and in my case it’s because I didn’t respect the effort put in or treatment of the project (constant delays, incomplete tracklist, AI, etc.)

i’m down for artist taking their time and releasing on their own schedule but the amount of songs he “leaked” that sound finished is crazy y

we heard sm atp i just want CDQ songs to listen to it’s not deepen them that

if we been running up the streams on some of these for over a year and they come with the album, it’s fake gonna be stale

hopefully it’s all new music but atp i’m just not really involved for checking he music as it comes out, just want an album on streaming

i was telling my coworker last week that when it comes to carti and frank if they never drop another album again i wouldnt necessarily care.

for me personally they've spent so much time not releasing music and go past peak hype that like another fat ass stretch of time wouldnt make a difference imo

idk how to articulate that but yea i hope you know what i mean
