No other contemporary artist—mainstream or not tbh—can really do a sprawling ass album like this which is why I'll always appreciate Carti whether or not this is worth the wait or whatever.
Like who else is starting such an important blockbuster album with a noisy Nu-Metal ass track like Pop Out? Whether decisions like those were super intentional or not doesn't really matter to me when the effect is nonetheless there.
