Regarding trav, one of the top artists currently, one of the best, however on this album, sound wise this sounds like Carti’s Yeezus, and although I’m aware that Trav basically crafted Yeezus sound with Kanye, Trav’s role this record seems too safe, like he’s just giving carti a mainstream feature for a high charting song rather than making what they actually wanna make. To keep it simple Travis kept it too safe on a record which is schizo sounding

I’ve listened up to track 23 and keep rotating that for now, 23 carti tracks is plenty… so far WLR has a lot more replay value, this seems like it’s more of a collection of different sounds, features thrown in to mix s*** up like the beats are doing with how different some of them are. WLR had like a theme and certain sounds throughout, this is almost playlist feeling, 2 mins of a sound then onto the next for 2 mins ect

Fr the album is called MUSIC it’s a chance to display your artistry at a new unseen level but all he did was just do what everyone expects of him so that’s why it’s disappointing not because his verses suck or anything
