We've been hurt so many times that the thought of a new project within 9 months of the previous one seems totally unbelievable
Hard to blame Carti for being inspired though after having a first-hand eye witness account for Donda's construction, damn, just seeing Donda develop made me wanna go and make an album
What people need to realize with artists like carti, thug, uzi, gunna etc. is that they don't need extended periods of time between projects for them to be of exceptional quality. Artist like them are song machines (maybe 20/30 a day) and already work at accelerated rates compared to most of their peers. Their process is capturing outbursts of amazing music and stitching these songs together to form a project.

Also what delayed wlr more than anything was the leaks. He already had a good chunk of v1 (cancun, molly, buffy the body, goku, pop bottles) done within the same year DL dropped. Was gearing up to drop in 2019...
