High key was hoping for a trash album that ktt2 d***rides like yeat instead of an actual classic
Lmao some of you niggas really think people like nerd solely because of Tyler
This album was already a classic before Tyler even think of being a rapper idk what these niggas talking about

he literally just saw that people like it from the other thread so he decided to turn it into a negative thing
it got 5 times as many replies this place thrives off of negativity and pointless bickering
the album is definitely not "not good" lol
is that Tyler thing serious? i'm pretty sure that this was just an important niche album before Tyler was even poppin.

It is. Tyler put his fans onto this album and NERD/Pharrell in general.
Same way Travis put his fans onto Kid Cudi

Hes easily one of the most hated rappers on here for no reason
Yea,Tip is the one who’s really slept on
Yeah and Nore was right when he said Pharrell and Kanye were like lost members of Tribe. It probably really goes De La > Q Tip/tribe > Kanye, Pharrell, Timbaland obviously they got other influences too

Tribe is definitely an influence to both of them but calling them lost members is a stretch lol. Both Ye and Pharrell are melting pots of every genre vs Tribe really being Hip Hop at its essence but, both of them definitely grew up on “A Low End Theory” and “Midnight Marauders”,which most likely grew their love for Hip Hop.
