    My MIL actually does this religiously still

    Its insane

    The groceries gotta quarantine for a week in the basement before they can be used, the mail has to quarantine in the garage for weeks until it can be opened, they put plastic bags on every surface so something doesn't directly touch it.

    COVID during my last years of college was both a blessing and a curse

    Blessing because it made s*** way easier for me to actually graduate but it also f***ed up my social life so bad lol

    I couldn't have imagined being in high school or college when this was going on

    I remember exactly how it went down when the pandemic started to kick off

    Intermediate accounting finals, all my professors scrambling to get exams online and I was thanking Allah cause I was not going to pass that s*** otherwise. Ended up with a B-

    High schoolers were just f***ed though. No high school was ready for that transition at all.

    Would have felt crazier for me if I didn’t have to keep working. Only things that really changed in my life was masks at stores and not being able to have family around when my child was born

    wasnt an option for me

    i spent most of the pandemic broke, alone and on the brink of suicide. by far the darkest point of my life and i never want to look back
