Each cover is in a different genre, although Dionne's and Stevie's version both have a similar motown groove going for both. Chaka also has a slow burn opening which I think is an homage to Dionne's cover. Purple's is pure late 60s psychadelic rock.

It might be my favorite cover from an instrumental standpoint

she's doing a lot, she sorta gave a 80s-ified version of Dionne's intro, and gave it the funkiness of her own sound with a little bit of Stevie's version too
