Seriously though, the album was already named ye by the morning of the release party I believe, the cover photograph was taken on Kanye's phone on the way to the listening party, and the text was chucked on later using a custom font that had been recently designed by uh... Jake something, I forgot his name.
The text is probably more meant to be a reference to a polaroid photo that was floating around earlier that morning, which the reddit kids thought was the "new title of the album" because they thought that was the cover

honestly my least favorite kanye album but it has some gems and great moments. it just feels really rushed especially comparing it to Donda and Pablo

i didnt know how generally that album was hated by alot of fans.
it's a great one to me or maybe i just have good memories of the times while playing that going through my own s***.
