We’re also just at the beginning of this becoming a community spread thing

I pray people aren’t rëtarded enough to think that just bc the disease started as one thing, that they get deluded to think it’s only going to continue spreading that way

No f***ing way we make the same mistake two pandemics in a row right??

    we are f***ed my boy

Monkeypox spreads in different ways. The virus can spread from person-to-person through direct contact with the infectious rash, scabs, or body fluids. It also can be spread by respiratory secretions during prolonged, face-to-face contact, or during intimate physical contact, such as kissing, cuddling, or sex. In addition, pregnant people can spread the virus to their fetus through the placenta.

Touching items (such as clothing or linens) that previously touched the infectious rash or body fluids is another way monkeypox spreads. It’s also possible for people to get monkeypox from infected animals, either by being scratched or bitten by the animal or by eating meat or using products from an infected animal.

People who do not have monkeypox symptoms cannot spread the virus to others.

Monkeypox can spread from the time symptoms start until the rash has fully healed and a fresh layer of skin has formed. The illness typically lasts 2-4 weeks.

What’s the point of wearing masks if it spreads through physical contact

Also spreads through respiratory exhales like COVID.

Social distancing is for the "physical contact" part

It’s gonna be etched in my mind forever that public experts said C19 could’ve become a one off thing if we acted fast enough, and these s***heads couldn’t even stay inside for more than a month

How did we get stuck with a generation of morons that know more than anybody

politicians face heavy blame for mixed messaging especially towards the beginning of the pandemic. ofc it was a developing situation but there were way too many huge pendulum swings

That’s because morons refused to listen to the scientists at every corner who said this is a brand new virus and the messaging was/is going to adapt to new findings

You can’t help that dumb American pigs expected to be able to just hear the same thing from the very beginning or only cared to listen to the “science” that was backed by their favorite politician

When scientists as a unanimity were telling republican voters to stay away from bleach and injecting worm, did they listen to the scientists or did they listen to Trump?

On god that was low key the best thing about the early quarantine s***, I could drive through downtown Atlanta with pretty much no cars on the road with in like 5 minutes

Half the country was moving in lockstep with everything Donald fed them for 3 years, how many of those people were you realistically going to get to peel away once he started publicly defecating on the most basic of precautions?

Cocksucker had half the Cabinet body bagged by COVID, got Herman Cain cooked, led rally after rally that resulted in new hot beds, and there’s still supporters of his that swear he handled this better. That VERY SIGNIFICANT crowd does not give a s*** about what a scientist or medical professional had to say, if it contradicted with what Donald had to say.

Let’s say that it didn’t happen (it did), my premise was that his suggestions trumped the messaging from medical professionals for a sizable crowd of people. That example was just a part of that premise I listed.

  • Jul 24, 2022

If people even took the idea serious enough to inquire about injecting lysol, bleach, whatever, that means they’re already using energy that should’ve been dedicated to listen to the experts (or literally anyone other than DJT)

Calls relating to bleach poisoning had been increasing consistently up until that point because of people over-sanitizing cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6916e1.htm

I think your original premise is correct btw the example is just shaky

Unfortunately a generation of selfishness. People being entitled to summer vacations and holidays really f***ed us over. As an agoraphobic the idea people can’t just sit inside is nuts to me but I guess the same can be said for me barely going outside
