    nah I agree with you, he helped popularize the concept album in the 50s and had an insane run but the 40s were the height of sinatramania

    Awkward cause Family Stone peaked for the last few years of the 60s and first few of the 70s.

    I almost named Clinton for 70s. No band any genre touching P-Funks run that decade. But Bowie still a little more impactful across his eras.

    Surprised nobody has said James Brown.
