Dog he's my favorite rapper of all time (outside of some more recent artists I've gotten into like Billy Woods, Ka, Roc Marci, Mach-Hommy) but I have done the coworker test and the boomer test multiple times. Pre-beef, people would give me a blank stare when I asked if they heard of him.
Even my own parents did so. They are definitely stuck somewhere in the 80s though.
This is anecdotal to me, and whatever your personal experiences are on the matter are anecdotal to you.
