both were pretty meh tbh im sure they'll come thru with a great album tho
You expecting a great album from Drake in 2020? 🧐
Generic in what sense? Drake is constantly experimenting you never know what to expect. LNCL is definitely left field especially for an established act like Drake to release but it's always a nice surprise hearing him raise the bar.
Even Drake would laugh at this
durk saved drake like raiden did snake in mgs4
It’s really a song that Drake has made like 10 times at this point
Name the 9 other times he's made it.
Definitely Travis. He's constantly pushing boundaries
What boundaries did he push on Franchise?
Idk but one rapper dropped a video at Nike HQ with tons of branding only for the other to follow up at Jordan’s old crib with tons of branding
Name the 9 other times he's made it.
I don't even listen to Drake lmao i obviously don't remember how 80% of his songs sound but God's Plan and Trophies are very close to this
There is no way some of you guys hate Drake enough to say that mid Travis song is the better single. LNCL is a future classic. Better production, better lyricism, and a better vocal performance by both artist. Lil Durk dropped one of the catchiest verses of the year with only 15 seconds on the song lol. And to top it off, the aesthetic of the single is better. Better video and cover.
OP is a known Drake hater.

This post sums up Drake sxn I like Drake but y'all delusional d*** riders
What boundaries did he push on Franchise?
i was overexagerating with boundary pushing, but i'd still say that the song was more creative and out there in terms of production and structure than any popular artist would push as a lead single besides Kendrick at this point

You don't listen to Drake but you boldly wrote that he's made a song like Laugh Now Cry Later 10 times? You're an idiot.

I'm really not lol this s*** sounds like a generic Drake song and i gave you at least two examples
I could've exaggerated with "10 times" part but it's still a snoozefest of song

There's nothing creative about Franchise. It's more generic Travis and even worse, it's not good. You can make an argument for Laugh Now Cry Later sounding like Trophies/God's Plan because of the triumphant horns on it but that's the only thing you can point to as a similarity between those songs. He uses a different flow and raps about different things and all 3 songs generally have a different vibe.
Franchise is just empty and hollow. There's nothing redeemable about it imo.

Fair enough, you don't have to like it. I just disagreed with you that he's made 10 songs that sound like it.
Travis song is trash. Beat is the only thing that saved it if we’re being real
They ain’t touchin LN,CL
