    He’s influenced a lotta people but it doesn’t seem like it because it’s so hard to replicate what he does

    This is why influence is such an overrated measure to me, you can argue that it comes down to how many clones find it so easy to replicate your sound that they’re able to build successful careers off of it

    GKMC is lowkey influential as hell, the amount of copycat narratives and nostalgia surrounding it is immense

    TPAB is one of those MBDTF type albums that's impossible to replicate but inspired everyone to up their game, it's still regarded as the bar to clear and gets talked about as a cultural moment
