sfsorrowThank you for this man i really appreciate it, i took some time to smoke and listen. I went through all of these and i love them, but i especially The Hen. The progression and percussion on that song is f***ing insane, i’m honestly surprised it didn’t make the cut. I also love that synth(?) on Hip-Skip and I can for sure tell Minnie is from Get Up With It era/lineup. I found this on streaming so i’m probably gonna go through the rest that’s not tracks off other projects but these are so crazy
I’m glad you enjoyed it. There’s a lot to unpack with this set but it’s such a huge payoff. They need to reissue it on cd because rn it goes for $200+ on discogs and eBay.

Mono! The matrix is 1D. Funny enough there’s speed issues on my copy, even though that’s supposedly on the stereo copies so I might have a one in a million

1D is the 4th cutting too I don't have the physical but I do have a rip of a mono white label promo, which sounds different to the original mono and both have the correct speed

I lowkey like the incorrect speed on my copy. So What and Freddie Freeloader sound so much more pleasant to the ears lol

Was checking the needledrops of the three original monos I have and they all have the incorrect speed (faster) although Blue in Green on two of them (6-eyes) run a little slower and closer to natural speed..
the sped up Side A with the faster Blue in Green are on the mono promo, 6-eye stereos, 2-track reel-to-reel and the 4-track reel-to-reel
I think incorrect speed was always a thing on the original monos but this shows that there's not just two speed variations on original pressings
