I had about 5 mp3s as a kid. They would fill up. Everyone used limewire but I found bearshare was way better. I’m grateful to have music at my fingertips, but it was the work you had to do to find new music that made listening to music so much more enjoyable than today.

ipod classic yea but never a dedicated mp3 player. i had a sony ericsson walkman phone for that and used to download songs and send them to ppl with bluetooth

I had the same one, i was freaked out when the color of the screen changed every time i skipped song

Upgraded to my dads old ipod classic which had 80 gbs , then got a 160 gb ipod classic but my cousins mom stole it

I got one of these on sale for $50 at target. For some reason I thought the screen was on the back. I put two songs on it (Stronger by Kanye and Teenagers by MCR) and got so frustrated by the lack of screen I never used it again. I inherited my dad’s iPad nano tho, loved that one.
