my relationship with my best friend is slowly deteriorating

I lost my best friend. it was a year before covid though but I’m still pretty torn up about it tbh. dude was like my brother, now we’re complete strangers. I’ve made a friend or two since then but it’s still not the same. it’s a lot harder for me to trust people. but that’s the way life goes, you’ll adjust to it @op

we talk almost every day! but i can definitely feel that rift. i think i'm becoming more of a therapist to him or something, which is in turn making me want to talk to him significantly less

texting/calling is always different. hang out w him in person to see what the vibes really like

my girlfriend left me and i begged endlessly and she said she wouldn't ever return
