Now let's look at streaming numbers throughout the decade.

    Drake-50 billion streams

    Beyonce-10billion...if even that high

Listen bruh Beyonce has been in the music industry longer therefore she can obviously charge more for a show. That doesnt say much

We can clearly see that Drake is the much bigger artist rn. He can do stadiums just like beyonce he just chose not to as he already said in an interview

That‘s some bs right there. Why isn’t he trimming down his convoluted albums to offer the best experience for the listeners?

That has nothing to do with it.

Let Drake and Beyonce simultaneously drop a song RIGHT NOW.

Guess which one is gonna chart higher and get more media spotlight.? Drake's

Cmon dawg it aint that hard.

They're both from different era's, you can't really compare. But Beyonce is probably the bigger artist overall. Drake is the bigger artist right now.

Everyone clowned Drake on being outsold by Kenny Chesney but Beyonce's last project got outsold by 5 Seconds of Summer

Drake said he wanted to play in arenas to have more of an „intimate“ feeling. So why is he releasing a 25 track album and not cut the fat to deliver a more cohesive piece of work? It‘s the money.

Beyonce hasn’t dropped actual solo music since 2016, genuinely don’t think that would happen lol

Is it harder to be more well known worldwide for a rapper compared to a singer?

The fact that this is a discussion just proves drakes star power though
Beyonce one of the most recognizable pop culture figures in the world

Damn.... so why all of the rap OGs saying Drake is a GOAT?.... why did kanye west actively claim inferiority and his fear of Drake?

Dweebs on KTT and twitter aint dictating the culture mate

Im not hating im just stating what i see

Drakes success has been great but his music doesnt have the weight behind it for him to be iconic i think

Like he hasnt been ‘mystified’ like other artists have been

Drake is definitely an icon, even if not in an MJ/Beyonce type way. Also I don't wanna sound like I'm doing mental gymnastics but there's two very real reasons for what you're saying and the glaring disparity between how the hip-hop community/youth views him and how the public outside of that views him:

    • his pre-streaming hits not being as present on mainstream white radio as the huge pop hits of the time that overshadowed him (ie the Nicki Minaj #1 issue)
    • he doesn't have any huge public persona defining tabloid stories that inform the average joe's perception of him, ie every demographic knowing that Taylor Swift breaks up with famous dudes then writes songs about them without having to know any of her songs
    - BRAVE

    Hes a superstar no doubt

I struggle to explain it but im pretty sure im right about it

One factor is pretty much all the ones im thinking of could be considered genius in a way and drake will never be considered that

He was a fad that is known for 2 or 3 staple songs these days.

Drake has lasted an entire generation, has a whole career of dozens of hits, and literally will go down in history as a historic name for Hip-Hop. It's not a comparison.

  • Beyonce. Are you stupid?
Can Drake do a worldwide stadium tour? I doubt it
