Have seen a lot of people ask what’s his relation to OVO so will use this thread to give some background
He’s the president of OVO Sound, so joined the picture around 2013 when the label launched
How he got his start in the industry:

Used to work with Biggie back in the day:
I would have not that Mr Morgan's reach goes back that far if it wasn't for this. The boy surrounded himself with some good people.

who is Big Apple?
who is Big Apple?
He had the white hummer parked right in front of fluid
The distinction between OVO and OVO Sound is truly interesting to me. Wonder what their plans are for OVO beyond just drake

Why did OVO outsource from their crew for the President role of the label?
who is Big Apple?
"Man-about-town Big Apple, a.k.a. Swagg Boss, is a Toronto street mogul who has dipped in retail, clothing and media. He gave Drake advice as he was coming up. Like the Hummer, Fluid Lounge—a Richmond Street nightclub—isn’t poppin’ anymore."

When I was in the industry they told me he was the one who decided "What's next" as a trend spotter/A&R type of guy.
He could be doing a better job
it’s hard to say from the outside looking in, we don’t know what kind of budget or limitations he’s working with
