American rapper Kendrick Lamar has won 173 awards from 390 nominations, including 13 Grammy Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, and the ASCAP Vanguard Award for his work as a composer.

Kendrick earned a total of seven nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. A year later, at the 2015 Grammy Awards, he won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his song "i". Lamar won his second Album of the Year nomination for the 58th Grammy Awards, also outnumbering those earned by other musicians/nominees.1 For the latter, he became the rapper with the most nominations in a single night.2 At the ceremony, Lamar won five awards, including Best Rap Album for To Pimp a Butterfly, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for "Alright", and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "These Walls". In 2015, Lamar received the California State Senate's Generational Icon Award from State Senator Isadore Hall III.3 He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music,4 the first non-classical or jazz work to win the award,5 and won five awards at the 2018 Grammy Awards for DAMN. and its songs "HUMBLE." and "LOYALTY."
