Of course, kids today listen to just about everything because of the Internet and there's less of a need to stick to one genre. But hip hop is still a popular genre with the youth alongside pop music.

I think its more so that people interest's and hobbies are more spread out now thanks to the internet rather than back in the 90s and 2000s.
