Apr 13Kanye is my favorite artist ever and that will never change. And saying that, Hov is the best rapper OAT and no one is close for me. Hov is what a rapper should hope to be. A legend since day 1 and able to adapt in every era and succeed.

Being a lyricist is also a part of being a rap artist
To call Kanye a rap artist is a disgrace to the craft. I would describe him as a controversy merchant, and Jon Brion and Mike Dean’s best exec. He never rapped a single verse in his life that made anyone who actually knows rap nod in approval. Never not once did he rap a single impressive bar. Let’s be real
