thats a good question. me personally i think s*** like this is too whiny. like i get your sad but you can convey that SOOO many different ways. That's why JuiceWrld never appealed to me. It sounded like the same song over and over.

It was considered lame. I had two older step brothers who were music elitists and would make fun of me all the time. One of them once said blink 182 was a bad band because the guitars werent complex enough lmao

I actually really liked Juice WRLD but it was more so the melodies. But you're right, the whole "im a suburban white kid whos super depressed" s*** is so whiny lol it's just weird to me being older seeing that s*** that was regarded as "lame" is now popular among the kids as "cool"
