It's crazy to me how big Drake has become. It's amazing how he has stayed on top for so long now. It seems hard to remember but there was a time when Drake was just a buzzing artist in the game.

I know there are a lot of fans from different eras on here but who remembers waiting for So Far Gone to drop?

It was so hyped but we had no idea it would open up the career for one of the biggest rap artist of all time.

I listened to so far gone when it came out like listening to other artists at the time. Didn’t really understand the impact or importance, was still listening to comeback season heavy. went back to SFG later and it kind of grew on me, especially the R&B

I remember when they delayed it for like 12 hours and Oliver saying sorry.

I remember being in the crib smoking loud with my homies and getting high off our dome, then my other homie rushes into the room saying "Yo this guy dropped a fire mixtape, its so good". He proceeded to play the tape through our radio speakers and it was fire, plus being high made it even better

I just started highschool at that time. It was a big moment in the blog space and young hiphop fan camp.
