i think it is, but while travis lyrics aren't traditionally strong he's just very relatable and can be raw about himself (especially in days/rodeo). i think his lyrics also for astroworld were somewhat written by cyhi and a couple others, so idk why y'all don't acknowledge he may understand his lyrical criticisms and is trying to get writers who can bring his thoughts out of him. he takes a curator/overall production role and i believe he is trying to be meticulous with what type of energy/sound he comes off with, somewhat in the vein of ye's work flow. thats a big reason his sound is so revered, that should be acknowledged in a top 3 discussion when it comes to his specific lyricism. also drake is kinda the same way and most would agree he's 1, correct?
