i was there and we sadly didnt free him
Bought a ticket off a scalper for $250. Seat near the choir.
Just got to see some bros and their bangers.
10/10 would do again.
Also, this guy named Larry Hoover has something to do with it.
such an amazing experience, way different experience than what was shown on stream. and way better than what was shown on stream
Was in the 3rd row aisle directly across the field from the torch/choir (section 114) so sound was great but i couldn't really see what was going on on stage. crowd was absolutely raging, totally blew my expectations away. i've lived in LA for almost 9 years now and crowds out here tend to tend to be lower energy than the east coast but god damn my section felt like a mosh pit down in the front.
the concert itself just got better and better by the second. i think we all went in expecting donda songs and then a few CLB songs and maybe some interludes about larry hoover...but we got a full blown classic ye concert, a great drake performance (regardless of how you feel about his setlist it was his first performance since the end of the scorpion tour so it was just so f***ing great to see him again), and an encore better than anyone could have imagined.
paid $200 each for the seats but would just as easily pay $2000 to relive it. greatest night of my life maybe. 10/10 cannot wait for kanye to do a full blown donda tour.

and yes this too. stream does a poor job capturing the energy in that place. wish they had more crowd pans and shots of people getting the f*** down. also could have mixed crowd noise in better to capture the reactions to songs.

That nigga performed at astrofest
Had a great view from Sec 220b
Energy was insane the moment Praise God came on.
Everybody in the crowd had looks of amazement when Ye started playing his hits
It was by far the loudest concert I’ve ever been to.
“I NEED YOU TO COME RIGHT BACK TO ME” moment at the end of Runaway definitely shook the entire stadium.
People started climbing up on the extra speakers when he dropped the intro to FSMH. It legit felt like a moment of chaos.
Drake was awesome. People in my section weren’t too familiar with his newer songs (which was understandable cause it was 90% a Ye crowd)
Bound 2 and Come To Life was pure Euphoria
Ye and Drake walk off, lights turn on, and every single person I made eye contact with had a look of utter amazement and shock
Did that really just happen
I went somewhat last minute because I started a new job and wasn’t sure if I was able to get off. It was definitely worth it! I was super tired but came with my wife’s cousin and me and him had a great time. We were expecting mostly donda music but it was a handful of Ye’s classics which made everyone go crazy. The crowd was great and really responded well. Just a great experience days before my Birthday

Wasn't the Flog Gnaw show after that tour?
Wasn't the Flog Gnaw show after that tour?
that and astrofest were his only performances between the end of scorpion tour and now
I guess people are happy to see him without any external f***ery coming between

Was there any screens because on stream it looks like either the whole stage was in smoke or it was pretty visible.

Facts was the same with LP 1 and 2 in ATL

there were no screens, and yeah sometimes it was super visible and sometimes it was pretty smoky. We were outside so the wind/breeze would clear up the smoke occasionally. no complaints from me tho

How cold was it out there?

actually it was drakes first performance since Astroworld tragedy but yeah go off
How cold was it out there?
it was 50 degrees roughly, i wore a hoodie and was fine. if you only had a t shirt on it would’ve been pretty cold for sure. as long as you kept yourself moving you’d be warm enough
